Community members once again gathered at the Wisconsin Trapshooting Association in Nekoosa to support students by participating in the Mid-State Technical College Foundation Trapshoot Fundraiser. The sixth annual event combined fun and friendly competition to raise over $5,000 for emergency grant programs that benefit students in financial need.
The first-place team was comprised of Brian Krause, Kevin Krause, Fred Krause, Wes Krause and Dennis Saeger. Overall high female score went to Wendy Hack from Solarus with a score of 26. John Clark, Terry Stencil and Brian Krause tied at 48 for the overall high male score, with Krause coming out on top after a tie-breaking shootout.
“What a great day to gather for a fun activity while helping students,” said Jill Steckbauer, director of Foundation & Alumni. “We are thankful for the generosity of the participants and volunteers that made this event a huge success.”
