Welcome to the Gourmet Café!

Welcome to Mid-State Technical College’s Gourmet Café, a restaurant run by Culinary Arts students! In this restaurant setting, students practice their skills in a real-world environment. Our Culinary Arts students lead all aspects of the restaurant from food preparation and service to menu planning and restaurant operations management.

The Gourmet Café serves multiple purposes–a learning environment for students and a fully functional restaurant for the community. Because the Gourmet Café is educational in nature, accidents can happen. These moments are important for the student learning experience, providing essential lessons that contribute to their growth and development in the culinary field.

Café Hours & Menu

Spring 2024 Semester (Mid-February – Early May)
Wednesdays • 10:30 a.m. – 12:45 p.m.
Take-out and dine-in service available.

Weekly menus designed exclusively by our students will be posted mid-January.

Please enter through the main entrance. Walk straight ahead down the hallway through the L building to our T building. You will see the Gourmet Café on the left just after you pass our IT classrooms on the right.
