The Wayne H. Bushman Advanced Manufacturing, Engineering Technology, and Apprenticeship (AMETA®) Center is a state-of-the-art training site in Stevens Point. This modern facility prepares the next generation of workers for high-demand careers in manufacturing, engineering, and the skilled trades. Students and employers have access to advanced equipment, hands-on labs, and industry-focused training.

The AMETA Center supports degree programs, apprenticeships, and customized workforce training. It brings together students, educators, and industry partners in one place. This collaboration helps drive innovation, build strong careers, and support economic growth across central Wisconsin.
