About Joico
Zotos is the parent company of Joico. Their company's mission is to share the Joi of Healthy Hair with as many salon professionals and clients as possible. Zotos has invested in wind turbines as an alternative source of electricity to help power their Geneva, New York, plant. Wind power reduces their reliance on fossil-fueled energy and increases their use of clean, renewable energy. In 2011, they secured a spot on the US Environmental Protection Agency's (EPA) Top 20 On-Site Generation list. They also have earned recognition from the American Wind Energy Association for being one of the top 2011 on-site wind projects launched by a manufacturing company in the United States. Zotos is also working hard to minimize their environmental footprint in other areas as well. In 2015, they reduced water usage, wastewater generation and waste generation itself by a full 10 percent.
