Student housing is now available for Mid-State Technical College students at The Villas at Marshfield. An open house event was held on April 16 for the public to visit Mid-State’s Marshfield Campus and The Villas.

Mid-State Technical College will again host its free Metal Mania machining training program this summer.

A record 111 Mid-State Technical College construction and industrial trade apprentices received Tools of the Trade scholarships from Ascendium this year. Each apprentice received $2,000 to use toward the purchase of equipment, tools, clothing, tuition and other needs to help them complete the required education and training for their trade.

Mid-State Technical College is expanding its meat cutting and butchery programming, thanks to an extension of its Meat Talent Development Grant awarded by the Department of Agriculture, Trade and Consumer Protection (DATCP). 

Mid-State Technical College is now accepting applications for two scholarships for new students enrolling in the Respiratory Therapy program in fall 2025.

Mid-State Technical College alumni are invited to an event on Wednesday, April 23, from 4 to 6 p.m. to celebrate 10 years of the Stevens Point Downtown Campus.

Applications are now being accepted for Mid-State Technical College’s $5,000 “Big Decision Scholarship.”

Registration is now open for Mid-State Technical College’s summer and fall terms, and each semester brings its own set of opportunities.

Mid-State Technical College is inviting all high school seniors in its district to its annual Admit Day celebration event on Friday, May 2, from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m. on the Wisconsin Rapids Campus.
