Community invited to Mid-State’s AMETA Center Open House

October 15, 2024

Mid-State Technical College will host a community open house at their newly opened Advanced Manufacturing, Engineering Technology, and Apprenticeship (AMETA™) Center on Wednesday, Oct. 30, from 5 to 7 p.m.

Attendees will learn about the programs and resources offered at the AMETA Center, tour the state-of-the-art facility and meet with staff and program faculty.

The AMETA Center provides four main labs featuring manufacturing and engineering equipment used by industry as well as eight classrooms. It is home to 16 programs, several industry credential attainment opportunities and many apprenticeship programs. It also provides dedicated space for the Wisconsin Bureau of Apprenticeship Standards. 

The AMETA Center is located at 5000 Coye Drive in the Stevens Point Industrial Park. Refreshments will be provided at the event. RSVP by Oct. 25 at mstc.edu/ameta
