Mid-State welcomes WTCS president Dr. Morna Foy to Healthcare Simulation Center
Wisconsin Technical College System (WTCS) president Dr. Morna Foy visited Mid-State Technical College’s Healthcare Simulation Center on April 23 as one of the stops on her Tour of Excellence. The day featured a tour of the facility, a demonstration of hands-on healthcare technology, networking with students and faculty and an opportunity to ride on the Mid-State shuttle.
Foy’s Tour of Excellence includes a visit to each of the state’s WTCS campuses. The goal of the tour is to recognize and celebrate the technical college students, staff, instructors, alumni and business partners who make each campus unique places of purpose in their communities.
“For over 110 years, everyday Wisconsinites have come through our doors with their unique, vibrant life experiences,” said Dr. Morna Foy, WTCS president “They’ve trusted us with their goals for their lives, families and communities. We are incredibly grateful and want to celebrate all of the students, staff and faculty at each of our colleges.”
“There is no doubt in my mind that our campuses are stronger and better because of the knowledge and experience of each student and staff member,” Foy added.
“We are so excited to welcome Dr. Foy to our Healthcare Simulation Center and share the hands-on experiences and healthcare technology the Center provides for our students,” said Mid-State President Dr. Shelly Mondeik. “Visits like these strengthen our partnerships within the WTCS and help in collaboration and innovation across the Wisconsin Technical College System.”
