Welcome to the Wisconsin Rapids Campus!

Mid-State’s Wisconsin Rapids Campus plays an important role in the community. We provide comprehensive hands-on education and job training. We are also a trusted partner and resource for local businesses.

The Wisconsin Rapids Campus houses the largest variety of Mid-State’s programs and general education classes. Automotive Technician, Diesel & Heavy Equipment Technician, Arborist Technician, HVAC Installer, and Renewable Energy Technician are unique trades programs in Wisconsin Rapids. A student is able to complete other unique Wisconsin Rapids Campus programs like Cosmetology, Barber Technologist, Culinary Arts, Criminal Justice-Studies, Criminal Justice-Corrections & Community Advocacy, EMT-Paramedic, and Paramedic Technician.

Our Academic Learning Center is open to the public. Anyone can access GED/HSED, career awareness, computer basics, and other adult education classes. The campus also features a gymnasium, an auditorium, The Salon at Mid-State, a cafeteria, a greenhouse, an EVOC (emergency vehicle operator course) track, an outdoor fire training space and burn tower, and numerous specialty labs. Other amenities include a spacious commons and lounge area.

Mid-State’s Healthcare Simulation Center is close by at Aspirus Riverview Hospital. The center is able to recreate complex health scenarios using specialized spaces equipped with simulation technology, creating highly trained and confident health care professionals.

Facilities

Facility Rentals
State-of-the-art spaces for rent, including training rooms, conference rooms, and computer labs. All have updated technology to support delivery methods, various room configurations, and wireless internet.

Electric Vehicle Charging
Mid-State’s electric vehicle charging stations are free and available to the public. Check out the charging station located in the northwest side of the parking lot of our Wisconsin Rapids Campus.

Hours

The Student Services & Information Center (SSIC) is located at the main entrance. This area connects students to the resources they need for a smooth transition from application to graduation. It is also the “Information desk” for everything Mid-State: class registration, advising and counseling appointments, and more.
