Program Delivery
Program delivery at Mid-State refers to what students can expect in terms of scheduling and delivery methods per program. In includes both scheduling (format, time of day, and credits load) and delivery methods (online, online live, in-person, and hybrid/blended). Find more detailed definitions below.
Scheduling
16-Week Classes: All classes are available in a 16-week format.
8-Week Classes: All classes are available in an 8-week format.
Varying Class Schedule: The number of weeks for classes in the program may vary.
Daytime: All classes are available between the hours of 7 a.m. and 5 p.m.
Evening: All classes are available between the hours of 5 p.m. and 10 p.m.
Weekend: All classes are available late Friday afternoon and/or on Saturday.
Full-Time: 12 or more credits per term can be taken in the program.
Part-Time: Fewer than 12 credits per term can be taken in the program.
Delivery Methods
Online: All classes can be completed away from campus, whenever and wherever you have an internet connection.
Online Live: All classes can be completed via a live face-to-face experience (using technology) with scheduled meetings. Online live classes can be taken either on campus or from anywhere you have an internet connection.
In-Person: All classes can be completed in person.
Hybrid/Blended: Some classes are completed in-person and some via another delivery format, like online or online live.
