Information regarding registered sex offenders can be obtained from the Wisconsin Sex Offender Registry at offender.doc.state.wi.us/public. Information that is provided to Mid-State regarding a student who is a registered sex offender, under the auspices of the Wetterling Act is releasable without the consent of the student.
