High school and middle school students are invited to compete in a SkillsUSA regional competition. Regional SkillsUSA competitions are an excellent way for high school and middle school students to continue to hone their skills after district events and before the State Leadership and Skills Conference.

The event will feature nearly 20 different career and technical education competitions, including:

  • Job Interview
  • Welding Sculpture
  • Carpentry
  • Precision Machining
  • And more!

Event Details

  • Registration takes place on the Member Information System. Be sure to note the registration close date. A contest may close before the registration closes if all spots are filled.
    • Student Competitors: $40.00
    • Student Observers: $20.00
    • Advisors/Chaperones: $10.00 (covers meal)
  • At least one registered adult advisor/chaperone should accompany each school in attendance.
  • A meal will be provided for registered student competitors, student observers, and advisors/chaperones. Be sure that any dietary restrictions are listed on your registration submission.
  • All participants must bring a resume and any safety equipment outlined in the technical standards document. Review the contest websites for additional notes on what to bring.
