Adams-Friendship High School (AFHS) juniors are invited to a day of workforce and professionalism training! Mid-State Technical College is partnering with AFHS, Adams County Economic Development, Adams County Chamber of Commerce and Tourism, and Gundersen Moundview Gundersen Moundview Hospital and Clinics to provide a day of professional preparation.

Event Highlights

  • Attendees will experience a day of interactive breakouts sessions relating to: 
    • Job search and interview prep
    • Social media and professionalism
    • Workforce communication
    • Personal and professional development
  • A job fair will be held at the end of the event featuring local employers with summer and part-time opportunities for high school students.
  • Students will receive a completion certificate from Mid-State that they can display on their résumé to show that they have received workforce and professionalism training.
