Overview
Gain skills in IV access and fluid therapy as well as administration of aspirin, 50% dextrose, narcan, atrovent, epinephrine, glucagon and nitroglycerine.
The program includes classroom lectures, practical skill labs, laboratory simulations and hospital and pre-hospital clinical experiences.
Students who successfully complete this program are eligible to take the State of Wisconsin EMT-Intermediate Technician written and practical examination.
The EMT-Intermediate Technician program is a Technical Diploma and offered at MSTC's Adams Center and the Marshfield, Stevens Point and Wisconsin Rapids campuses. Check each campus for starting dates. |
