Early Childhood Professional - Night Option

Mid-State Technical College is excited to offer a new night option for the Early Childhood Professional technical diploma program, starting spring semester 2026 (late January). This unique format is built to support working adults, parents, and others who need flexibility while pursuing their education.

The night option gives you the opportunity to:

• Balance your career, family, and education with a consistent weekly schedule.
• Gain hands-on training and knowledge to prepare for careers in childcare centers, preschools, Head Start programs, and more.
• Learn in a supportive environment alongside a dedicated group of classmates moving through the program together.

Program Format

• Start date: Spring 2026
• Length: Three terms (complete the program in just over a year)
• Schedule: Classes held Wednesday evenings, 5:30 – 7:30 p.m.
• Location: Wisconsin Rapids Campus (with some courses online)

Support for Your Success

• Free licensed childcare at a nearby facility, Wednesdays while you attend class (dinner included)
• Tutoring support to help you thrive academically
• Laptop access if you need one (while supplies last—sign up quickly to reserve yours)
