Basic Electronics
 


The ability to understand and troubleshoot electrical and electronic circuits found in modern applications of technology is a valuable skill. The types of work environments that use the skills of electronics technicians include telecommunications service providers, TV and satellite service organizations, computer network sales and entertainment industries to name a few.

This is a self-paced, independent study certificate. At the completion of this certificate you will have the skills to diagnose and troubleshoot both DC and AC electrical circuits. Work with different types of equipment like multimeters, signal generators, oscilloscopes and power supplies. Study transistors, diodes and rectifiers and their use in amplifier, rectification and filter circuits.

Delivery Format
Computer aided instruction must be completed on computers equipped with course software and related equipment. Self-paced but with a completion date.
