Overview
Be prepared with the knowledge and skills necessary to function as a Central Service Technician.
Through classroom instruction and clinical experience, students learn the principles of standard precautions, asepsis, disinfection and sterilization procedures.
Patient interaction is minimal within this area of specialty. Upon finishing the program, you will be eligible to test for the credentials of Central Service Technician through the National Institute for the Certification of Healthcare Sterile Processing and Distribution Personnel (NICHSPDP).
The Central Service Technician program is a Technical Diploma and offered at MSTC's Marshfield campus. |
